One injured in Queen Anne’s Co. crash; investigation ongoing

A Queen Anne's County crash remains under investigation after deputies say a man was flown to shock trauma for injuries he sustained from the incident.

The Queen Anne's County Sheriff Office says on Friday, just before 12:35 PM, emergency personnel responded to Leager Road and Sudlersville Road for a single-vehicle crash. Deputies say a 19-year-old Marydel man lost control of his Hyundai passenger car which had a Mississippi registration, driving off the road into a nearby field.

According to the report, the 19-year-old was flown to Maryland University shock trauma to receive treatment for his severe injuries.

Deputies report that the vehicle was disabled as a result of the crash. It was removed by a tow company.
