Music fans take on day two of the Firefly Music Festival

It's day two of the Firefly Music Festival, and concert goers and fans from all over come to Dover to camp out, have fun, and listen to their favorite artists, and they say that's what music festivals are all about.
"It gives you a vibe like you're apart of something. Everyone is here to have fun, see music, meet people, it's like a camping vacation," said festival goer Breann Sictor.
Thousands of festival goers, dressed to impress, and ready to rock and roll flocked to the Woodlands of the Dover International Speedway for the second day of musical performances at Firefly's annual music festival.
"This is our first time here actually. We've gone to a couple of other festivals, but most of it we're just here for the vibe of the festival and the happy people," said festival goer Lauren Holt.
With three different stages across the wooded area, fans can enjoy the sounds of artists wherever they go. While also being offered a range of different food vendors and activities to enjoy.
"I wanted to experience this community and everything they have to offer here and it's just seems like everyone comes back with a positive vibe every single time," said festival goer Jack Ebbers.
Firefly attendees say the festival is also more than just music, they say it gives them an opportunity to meet new people in a fun and relaxed environment.
"You feel connected to everyone. Beacuse you're all here for the same reason. No one's here to get into fights with each other. No one's here ready to be mean or rude or any of that," said festival goer Brayden Campbell.
"It gives you a vibe like you're apart of something. Everyone is here to have fun, see music, meet people, it's like a camping vacation," said Sictor.
And artists are just as thrilled to get out there and perform for thousands of fans.
"I'm excited to be onstage, it's one of my favorite things when I do a set and people come up to me afterwards and tell me what it meant to them," said performer Kat Cunning.
So whether it's your first time here, or you're a firefly veteran, as long as you've got your dancing shoes on you're guaranteed to have a good time.
"It's all here to just enjoy these live acts of music which are artists putting their hearts and souls into these things. You really get to experience that, that's what I think ties everyone in," said Campbell.
The festival will be going on until Sunday with artists like Eminem and Kendrick Lamar expected to perform over the next two days. Single day passes are still available for $130. You can head to the festivals' website to get your tickets at https://fireflyfestival.com/.
