MSP: Queen Anne’s Co. drug bust results in multiple arrests; nine indicted
Authorities report that they seized over $30,000, seven vehicles, along with cocaine and other drugs as result of an investigation of a distribution ring operating in Maryland and Delaware.
Maryland State Police says during Spring 2018, the Queen Anne's County Drug Task Force conducted an intense investigation on a cocaine distribution ring operating in the county. Investigators learned that 31-year-old William Louis Ryans III aka "Little Man" was importing and distributing large amounts of powdered and crack cocaine, schedule II narcotic pills and heroin into Queen Anne's County.
During the investigation, authorities say Ryans was identified as running a drug distribution ring that operated primarily in the Centreville, MD area.
According to the report, Ryans and his co-conspirators are suspected of importing and distributing approximately three pounds of cocaine, thousands of prescription pills and other narcotic drugs in Queen Anne's County, between April 30, 2018 and June 1, 2018. During the investigation, law enforcement says multiple search and seizure warrants were served on June 1.
MSP reports the following as a result of the search warrants:
Individuals arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances as a result of evidence located during the investigation

Authorities say these individuals were initially held without bond at the Queen Anne's County Detention Center.
Police say the following evidence was seized during the investigation:
-$31,870 in drug money
– seven Vehicles seized valued at $106,600
-Five Firearms seized
-17.0 grams of marijuana seized
-275.3 grams of powdered cocaine seized
-2.0 grams of crack cocaine seized
-4.2 grams of heroin seized
-36 Oxycodone, Schedule II pills seized
-40 Schedule III prescription pills seized
This is an ongoing investigation.
The Queen Anne's County Drug Task Force members of the Maryland State Police, The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office, the Queen Anne's County Office of the State's Attorney, the Centreville Police Department and the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
The Queen Anne's County State's Attorney's Office, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), members of the Kent County Narcotics Task Force, the Caroline County Drug Task Force, the Talbot County Drug Task Force and the Delaware State Police were also assisted with the investigation.
