Dover Unlock the Block deadline approaching

It's the last call for small business owners in Dover interested in applying for the city's Unlock the Block program. July 9th is the final day to submit your application for the program that looks for owners to occupy vacant commercial properties in Downtown Dover, and continue to keep the city thriving. Tenants selected for the program will receive a combination of incentives including fee waivers, free business consulting services and technical assistance.
"You want to have that constant flow that makes it seamless when people are walking by they get that from one shop to the next and that there's a flow of businesses so we really want to have that consistency there and making sure that people are able to shop and enjoy all that we have to offer downtown," said Operations and Program Manager for the Downtown Dover Partnership Tina Bradbury.
Applications from prospective business owners will be accepted through July 9. The pitch competition will occur on July 26th and the winners will be announced by Aug. 15th. If you're interested in applying you can head to https://www.downtowndoverpartnership.com/
