A Delaware man is facing charges after police say he was arrested for his fourth DUI offense.

The Milford Police Department says on Thursday, just before 10:00 PM, an officer on patrol in the area of Airport Road and Bowman Road noticed a vehicle traveling partially in the travel lane of oncoming traffic. Police say the vehicle was pulled over and 62-year-old Loren Johnson, of Frederica, was taken into custody for suspicion of operating the vehicle while impaired.

After further investigation, officers learned that Johnson had three prior convictions for driving under the influence. According to the report, the 62-year-old was charged with fourth offense driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drive in proper lane and direction, and failure to have license in possession.

Johnson's bail was set at $8,600 unsecured and he is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a preliminary hearing on August 3.
