Body found in wooded area in Queen Anne’s Co.; investigation ongoing

An investigation is ongoing after deputies say a man's body was found in the woods in Queenstown.
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office says on Wednesday, around 5:00 AM, law enforcement personnel and Fire/EMS units were dispatched to the area of Joseph Boyles Road for a death investigation. Deputies report that a 19-year-old male's body was found in a wooded area in the vicinity of Joseph Boyles Road.
Deputies say foul play is not suspected at this time.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of the family.
Authorities say the body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
This incident remains under investigation.
