UPDATE: NB lanes of Rt. 113 closed after school bus crash in Del.; investigation ongoing

A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus remains under investigation after authorities say the incident resulted in a lane closure, in Frankford.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday, just before 11:45 AM, an accident involving a school bus happened at the intersection of Dupont Boulevard, US 113, and Daisey Street. The northbound lanes of Dupont Boulevard (Rt. 113), at Daisey Street, is curently closed.

Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company, Roxana Volunteer Fire Company, and Frankford Volunteer Fire Company all responded to the scene.

DSP confirmed that there were no children on the bus at the time of the accident.

This incident remains under investigation. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel.
