UPDATE: Easton shooting suspect in custody

The alleged suspect involved in a Tuesday afternoon shooting, in Easton, is in custody.
Police say workers were doing some repairs on one of the town homes near June Way and Penny Lane, when an older man approached them and shot at them at least twice with a handgun, and then went back inside his house. One those workers called 911, and when police arrived they say they immediately began to take action.
Officials say, "Several attempts were made to make communications with the suspect, none were very successful. Through various means we ultimately able to make entry in this house and locate one suspect, who did not appear to have any injuries to him and was taken in to custody."
Neighbors tell 47 ABC that police used tear gas in the process of arresting the suspect. Luckily, no one was injured and the suspect was taken to a nearby hospital where he will be evaluated, and then will be taken back into police custody.
Before the suspect was arrested, the entire road road was shut down and people were not allowed to leave their homes. Meanwhile, people were stuck on the streets as they waited for the situation to resolve.
Neighbors tells 47 ABC that the man lived alone and also kept to himself, so they say this came as a huge shock them.
Police say the suspect could be charged with a number of crimes, including attempted murder.
This story is developing and will be updated as more information is received.
