Two sought in connection to Del. armed robbery; investigation ongoing

Police are searching for two suspects after they say the men were involved in an armed robbery at a Delaware store.

The Dover Police Department says on Sunday, around 3:15 PM, an armed robbery happened Stop and Shop Convenience Store, on White Oak Road, in Dover. Police say two men entered to store and displayed handguns. Officers report that at that time one of the suspect went behind the counter.

According to the report, the individual that went behind the counter stole miscellaneous items from the store as well as an undisclosed amount of cash, and the victim's cell phone as the second suspect stood near the door and acted as a lookout. Police say both suspects then fled northbound on foot, possibly towards White Oak Condos.

This incident remains under investigation.
