Shoes and cash among items stolen in Del. burglary; suspects sought

Police are searching for suspects after they say shoes and cash were among the items taken during a Dover burglary.

The Dover Police Department says on Tuesday, between 2:00 PM and 9:30 PM, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by forcing entry into a home in the 100 block of Periwinkle Drive. Police say the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

According to the report, the suspect(s) ransacked the residence and stole several pairs of shoes, hats, a necklace, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

This incident remains under investigation.
