Residents particiapte in forum ahead of next week’s elections

Residents in Crisfield are closing in on the election to decide their next mayor.
The two candidates for mayor, and six candidates for city council, were on hand at Crisfield High to lay out their visions for the city.
We spoke with residents who showed up, and the most common concerns seem to be revitalization of the city, creating new jobs and addressing the drug and opioid problem in the area.
"I think both of the candidates for mayor are worthy in their own right. There are three people to be chosen for city council. Legislatively and visionary, they are just as important as the mayor. You gotta have them to be able to move forward," said Crisfield Mayor Kim Lawson.
Crisfield will hold its elections for mayor and city council June 20, from 7 AM to 7 PM at City Hall.
