Md. Primary Election outcome for U.S. House of Representatives seats

MD Representative Candidates Jesse Colvin and Andy Harris

Republican Andy Harris will square off against Democrat Jesse Colvin, in November, to represent Maryland’s 1st District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

On Tuesday, Harris received more than 85 percent of the vote while his Republican opponent Martin Elborn received almost 10 percent and Lamont Taylor got the remaining 5 percent.

Harris is the incumbent and has represented Maryland's 1st District since 2011.

Colvin got over 38 percent of the Democratic vote, as he was up against five other candidates.
