Man arrested in connection with Wicomico Co. burglary

A man was arrested after police say he was warned about trespassing before a burglary happened at a Wicomico County home.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 31000 block of Melson Road for a burglary in progress. Deputies say the victim was hiding in the home and called police.

According to the report, the suspect, who is familiar with the residents, entered the home after being told not to trespass a day before the incident. Authorities report that the caller saw 18-year-old Dylan Culley exit the house and leave in a vehicle. Law enforcement says they located the vehicle fleeing the scene.

The Delmar man was arrested and charged with fourth degree burglary and trespassing.
