Drugs allegedly found at Queen Anne’s Co. assisted living facility

An investigation is ongoing after deputies say an individual reported finding drugs at a Maryland assisted living facility.
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office says on Monday, around 6:50 AM, deputies were called to Safe Haven Assisted Living residence when someone reported finding drugs at the location. WMAR, the Baltimore ABC affiliate, reports that the alleged controlled dangerous substance belonged to one of the facility's employees.
WMAR reports that the substance is believed to be heroin and paraphernalia. According to authorities, the substance is being tested to confirm if it is a controlled dangerous substance.
If it is deemed a controlled dangerous substance, law enforcement says the employee can be charged.
