UPDATE: Officials: Accidental Salisbury fire causes over $60K in damages

Authorities say no one was injured after a Salisbury fire caused over $60,000 in damages.

The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal Says on Tuesday, around 10:10 PM, a fire happened at a one-story apartment in the 700 block of West Road. Officials say 25  Salisbury Fire Department firefighters put out the fire in 45 minutes.

According to authorities, the blaze caused $68,000 of estimated total damages to the Milford Twilley owned property.

Officials report that the fire began in the interior wall cavity. The incident is ruled as accidental to an electric receptacle.

No one was injured in this incident.

A Salisbury apartment complex went up in flames Tuesday night for the second time in three weeks.

It happened at the complex on the corner of West Road and Rose Street.

Five stations including Salisbury, Hebron, and Fruitland responded.

When 47ABC arrived, it appeared three units were on fire.

There appeared to be significant damages including burned doors and shattered windows.

The State Fire Marshal was on scene.
