Details emerge surrounding an alleged sexual assault after police say a 19-year-old student was involved in the incident that happened at a Salisbury high school.

Wicomico County District Court records show that on May 15, between 11:50 AM and 2:00 PM, Jose Vazquez-Ramos, went into a guidance office where another 14-year-old student was already inside.

According to court documents obtained by 47 ABC, the 19-year-old Salisbury man and the 14-year-old female student engaged in sexual acts, including oral sex. The 14-year-old victim reported that she felt pressured and threatened to engage in the sexual acts.

According to Wicomico County court records, Vazquez-Ramos admitted to exchanging sexually explicit text messages with the victim in March 2018, which included requesting oral sex from the victim and him requesting he perform oral sex on her. Authorities say during the interview at the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, the 19-year-old stated that he believed the victim was 15 years old. During the time frame of the exchange of text messages and the alleged sexual assault, the victim was actually 14 years old.

On Monday, Superintendent Dr. Donna Hanlin issued a statement saying, "Student safety is our top priority in Wicomico County Public Schools. So we are continuing to investigate this alleged incident, and we're in full cooperation with detectives from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office."
