Two sought in connection with Dover home invasion; investigation ongoing

A home invasion remains under investigation after police say a suspect shot into a Dover home during the incident.

The Dover Police Department says on Friday, just before 1:10 AM, officers were called to the Dover East Estates Mobile Home Park, on S. Little Creek Road, for a home invasion. Police say a 35-year-old female victim reported that two men attempted to force their way into her home through the back door. 

According to the report, one of the suspects was armed with a gun and fired into the home during a struggle to keep the suspects out.
