Two found dead in Del. home; investigation ongoing

Authorities are releasing information about an ongoing death investigation after two people were found dead in a Hartly home on Tuesday morning.

Delaware State Police say just before  11:30 AM, troopers were dispatched to a residence in the 4000 block of Arthursville Road for a welfare check. Once on scene, troopers say two people were found dead inside of the home.

DSP reports that the bodies have been turned over to the Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the manner and cause of death. The Victims' identity is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.

This incident remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit.
