Traffic Alert: SR 30 and Gravel Hill Road closed after pipe failure in Sussex Co.

Transportation officials say a pipe failure has caused a road closure that will last until June, in Sussex County.

The Delaware Department of Transportation says on Tuesday, a crossroad pipe failure happened in the area of SR 30 and Gravel Hill Road, between Huff Road and Shingle Point Road, in Milton.

According to DelDOT, the incident resulted in a portion of SR 30 and Gravel Hill Road being closed.

Officials say the closure is expected to last from now until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 5.

Detour signage was put into place for drivers.
