Three arrested on drugs charges in Salisbury; wanted Salisbury man in custody

Three people were arrested on drug charges after authorities say a man wanted in connection with a 2017 narcotics investigation was found in Salisbury.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Thursday, the Community Action Team (CAT) developed information that 30-year-old Desean Strand, who was wanted in connection to a 2017 investigation into the distribution of narcotics, was living in the 1000 block of Pierce Avenue. Deputies say on Thursday morning, the United States Marshall Fugitive Task Force located Strand at the residence.
Authorities report that a search and seizure warrant for controlled dangerous substances was executed at the home. According to the report, Strand, 22-year-old Lyndsey Sellards, and 33-year-old Mark Sellards, all of Salisbury, were located inside the residence. Deputies say 9.12 grams of cocaine packaged for distribution, scales, cash, and packaging materials all indicative of the street level sale and or trade were also found.
Law enforcement reports that the residence is located within 1,000 feet of Bennett High School.
Lyndsey Sellards and Strand were charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine in a school zone, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin. Strands was also served with two outstanding warrants and he is currently being held without bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center. Twenty-two-year-old Sellards was released on an unsecured bond.
Authorities say Mark Sellards was found to be in possession of small amount of heroin. The 33-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of heroin. He was released on his personal recognizance.
