SU grad opens athletic facility for young athletes

A Salisbury University graduate has taken his passion of sports exercise and opened a new training facility for young athletes in the area. Less than a month ago Cody Revel opened the Athlete Academy where he specializes in the development of youth athletics for elementary, middle, and high school students as well as college and professional athletes. Revel says he opened the academy to offer a place where kids and adults could improve mentally and physically, while also pushing them to become the best athlete they could be.

"I was also the strength coach at the collegiate level so my idea was to bring that set in here to the private sector in the public, just to kind of educate future strength and conditioning coaches or athletes that are going away because there's going to be a time and place when they leave me and I want them to understand what we did and why we did it," said Revel.
