Several fire house companies respond to mobile home fire

The Delaware State Fire Marshal responded to fire that consumed a mobile home in Millsboro on Saturday.

According to officials, the Indian River, Millsboro and Lewes fire departments responded to the blaze on Minnow Lane around 1 p.m. after receiving reports of heavy smoke coming from the home.

Sussex County Paramedics and the Delaware State Fire Marshall also arrived to help control the fire, which gained power from the warm temperatures. 

Officials say the fire was put under control in under 20 minutes.

According to reports, no one was injured, but a substantial number of personal items were lost. 

The investigation into the cause of this fire is ongoing.
