Several fire companies respond to storage shed fire in Pocomoke

The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating the cause of a storage fire.

Around 10:48 p.m. Thursday night, Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company received a call about a structure fire on 730 Cedar Hall Road in Pocomoke.

Upon arrival,fire officials located the blaze within an equipment storage barn.

Chief Gladding tells 47 ABC that the barn and equipment found inside are a total loss. Also another shed sustained light damage.

We're told at least seven fire companies, including Pocomoke, Snow Hill and some from Virginia  were on the scene.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
