Police: Attempted traffic stop in Milford leads to chase; Three arrested and one still wanted
A man is still wanted after police say three men were arrested during a vehicle pursuit and drugs were found, in Delaware.
According to the report 18-year-old Tyron R. Mifflin, of Milford, 30-year-old Brian D. Bell, of Frankford, 19-year-old Antwain M. Holden, of Bridgeville, and Taevon I. Potts, 22 of Milford were in a vehicle that Milford police had attempted to stop in the area of North Street and Northwest 5th Street. Officers reportedly attempted to stop the vehicle in an attempt to locate a wanted person. Police say the vehicle did not stop and officers pursued the vehicle to the 600 block of N. Dupont Boulevard (US Rt 113).
At that point, authorities say Mifflin, Bell, and Holden fled on foot while the alleged driver, Potts, escaped in the vehicle. Police say they caught Mifflin, Bell, and Holden, shortly after their exit from the vehicle. According to the report, officers then seized 474 bags of heroin, 1.2 grams of marijuana, and $556 as part of the investigation. All three suspects were arrested.
Mifflin was charged with resisting arrest. He was issued a $500 unsecured bail with arraignment set for July 25 at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
Holden was charged with resisting arrest, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in tier 3 quantity, and underage consumption of alcohol. Holden's bail was set at $8,001 secured and he was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution. He is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Please on May 11 for a preliminary hearing.
Bell was charged with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. Bell's bail was set at $750 unsecured and he is scheduled to appear at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on July 25 for an arraignment.
