Peninsula Alternative Health launches initiative to help patients who can’t afford medicine

Peninsula Alternative Health's new initiative known as The Canna Care Fund will raise money for patients who can't afford the medicine.

The federal government and insurance companies do not get involved financially, so it can get quite expensive. In order to be qualified, all you have to do is fill out a detailed form. 

From there, Peninsula Alternative Health will see if you meet the criteria for some assistance.

The program is donation based. In the last 60 days, they've been collecting donations for this program and have already raised $1,000.

In July, they are hosting a silent auction. They are asking businesses to donate any gift certificates for The Canna Care Fund.
