Man arrested in connection with copper wire thefts for a second time

The Delaware State Police say that they have arrested a man for the second time in connection with copper wire thefts from commercial irrigation systems.
Police say that 23-year old Taylor Provanchie was arrested back on April 19th for copper wire thefts and was released on an unsecured bond. Then, on May 11th, officers received reports of copper wire theft along Brownsville Road and Cornish Road in Harrington. Provanchie was thought of as a possible suspect.
After patrolling the area troopers spotted Provanchie's car. The 23-year old was taken into custody and was initially charged with Violation of Probation and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
On Thursday, May 24th, warrants were obtained for Provanchie in connection with the Harrington thefts. He was charged with two counts of Theft (Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Trespass Third, and two counts of Criminal Mischief. He was given an $11,300.00 unsecured bond but is still at JTVCC for violation of probation.
