Hundreds of students turn tassels at UMES

Students from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore showed off their Hawk pride at the graduation commencement ceremony on May 25.
The students graduated from different programs like agribusiness all the way to biochemistry and music. They shared their favorite moments and what they're looking forward to in their next chapter of life.
"I've always wanted to work with law enforcement, and I want to be a forensic psychiatrist," said Kierstea Koger.
"It was a different experience for me coming from Baltimore to Princess Anne where it was kind of rural and not too much city," said Adaja Holliday.
Students also said their time spent at the University has changed their lives and that they can not wait to continue pursing their dreams.
