House struck by lightning during storm

According to The Salisbury Fire Department, a house was hit by lightning early Monday morning.

Officials responded to the 600 block of Camden Avenue around 3:00 a.m., after receiving reports of a house being struck by lightning.

Officials found a small fire in the insulation on the third floor.

The fire was put out with a fire extinguisher.

Fire crews will continue to check the exterior roof area, while interior crews continue to work.

There are no reported injuries at this time.
