Burglary in Las Cabanas Restaurant

Delaware State Police are still looking for a man who allegedly stole more than a thousand dollars from Las Cabanas on April 30. 

According to the restaurant's co-owner, Fredy Garcia, it took the burglar less than a minute to steal the money among other items. 

"When we arrived to the restaurant, the police were already here, and they told us it was no accident," said Garcia.

"They said someone had gotten inside," Garcia said. 

A security camera footage shows the man run inside the restaurant and then struggle to break the cash register loose. The burglar then grabs the machine and quickly runs out. 

Garcia said he hopes police are able to find the suspect so that he doesn't return.
