Woman arrested in connection with robbing landlord

Police in Delaware say they have found the woman who was wanted in connection to the robbery of a landlord in Lewes.

On Thursday the First State Fugitive Task Force arrested  Amber Hoopes without incident.

Police say that on April 10th she fled with 25-year-old John Schaefer, who was caught on April 13th, after he assaulted his 67-year-old landlord, took his wallet, cash, eye-glasses, keys and his car.

The 27 year old was charged with Robbery First Degree, Criminal Mischief, Theft of a Motor Vehicle among others.

She was committed to the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $14,000 dollar secured bond.
