UPDATE: Del. man sentenced for 2015 murder of wife in front of children

A horrific case in Delaware has reached it's final chapter.
On Wednesday, Cortez Hamilton was sentenced in Kent County Superior Court for murdering his wife, Keisha Hamilton. This comes after he plead guilty to second degree murder earlier this year. Part of that deal includes Cortez agreeing to give the location of Keisha's remains.
Back in 2015, the Smyrna man killed Keisha Hamilton with a hammer and fled with their two children. Shortly afterwards an Amber Alert went off for the couple's two children, while a Gold Alert was issued for Keisha. The children were found in good condition 24 hours later in Indiana with Hamilton.

However, investigators didn't receive a break on Keisha's whereabouts until this year.
On January 19, human remains were identified as 38-year-old Keisha Hamilton. Authorities say the body was located near Mount Friendship Road, in Smyrna.
During Wednesday's sentencing, Cortez remained silent and chose not to address the court.
However, family members and friends of Keisha spoke out saying their life has been turned upside down after losing their loved one.
47 ABC caught up with the family after court.
"The family is not happy with the sentence. 25 years does not justify what happened here," says Tetra Shockley, a family friend.
Nonetheless her family and friends say they will continue to keep her memory alive.
"Keisha was a good friend, an awesome mother, she has four children that are left to cherish her memory," says Shockley.
