Suspect sought in connection to burglary at Del. arts and crafts store
Police are searching for a suspect after they say the person was involved in a burglary at a Delaware arts and crafts store.
The Dover Police Department says on Monday, just after 3:45 AM, a burglary happened at AC Moore, on N. DuPont Highway, in Dover. Police say an unknown suspect threw a rock through the front door of the business and entered the building.
According to the report, once inside, the suspect attempted to pry open a safe. The suspect was apparently unsuccessful.
Officers say the suspect then fled out of the back door of the store.
This incident remains under investigation.
