Seaford home hit by gunfire; investigation ongoing

A shooting remains under investigation after troopers say a bullet went through a home in Seaford.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday, around 11;35 PM, troopers responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Clench Jean Lane for a report of shots fired. Once on scene, troopers say a 67-year-old woman reported that she heard a loud noise while she was in her living room. 

According to the report, authorities discovered that a single bullet had entered the residence through the siding and into the living room where it struck a wooden table. A 20-year-old woman was also inside a bathroom in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured in the incident. 

DSP continues to investigate the incident.
