Samaritan Shelter in Pocomoke City needs food and personal care items

In Worcester County, a homeless shelter is asking for your help so they can keep providing care for the community.

The Samaritan Shelter in Pocomoke City is asking for lunch meats, juice boxes, or any snacks. Beyond that, they are need of shampoo, deodorant, and soap.

The shelter says during the holidays, they deal with more guests and now their supply is a bit low.

The shelter houses 24 people, but they constantly host food pantries for the public every Tuesday and Saturday from 1-2 PM.

If you'd like to donate, you can drop items off at the shelter. They are also hosting a spaghetti dinner May 12th from 4-8. It will be $8 and all the proceeds will go to the shelter.
