Salisbury’s Hudson Health Services introduces a new halfway house for women

In Salisbury, an addiction treatment provider is opening its doors, providing people with a unique opportunity to restart their life.
Hudson Health Services has officially opened a new women's halfway house.
The new facility houses eight women at a time. This home has a dedicated counselor, a case manager, and a living house manager. It is staffed 24/7.
This provides residents with accountability, which gives them more stability.
We're told, no children are allowed.
The Program Development Director, Kennedy Hinman says, "A female that is going to be appropriate for this house is going to be coming out of an inpatient or residential setting. Or women coming out of an incarceration will be appropriate for this level of care."
Currently, they already have two beds filled, so 6 other beds are still available.
They also use peer recovery specialists to guide patients through some of these processes.
Beyond the services, this halfway house offers a sense of family to create connections to a larger recovery community.
