Salisbury University hosts 17th annual Relay For Life event

Salisbury University will be celebrating their 17th annual Relay For Life event.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. tonight until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, over 1,200 participants and cancer survivors will be at the Maggs Gymnasium.

This year's theme is inspired by Disney and is called "Wish Upon a Cure."

The public is welcomed to join in on the festivities. Food, games and entertainment are all included.

Over the past 16 years, Salisbury University has raised over $1.5 million, for cancer research through the event.
