Police: Dover man fled hospital; Gold alert issued

A gold alert was issued for a man after police say he left a Delaware medical facility wearing scrubs.
The Dover Police Department says on Tuesday, a gold alert was issued for 38-year-old Steven Huey, of Dover. Police say Huey was last seen on Tuesday morning at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he was getting treatment for a medical condition.
Authorities report that while hospital staff were attempting to take him to another location for further treatment, the 38-year-old fled and was unable to be located by police or hospital staff. According to the report, Huey was last seen wearing a blue scrub top and bottom, white sneakers, and a black hooded sweatshirt that says "KING" across the chest. Officers say Huey stands 5'10" with a thin build.
Police say his health and safety may be at risk without proper treatment.
