Police asking for public’s help in solving 2017 Wicomico County murder case

Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in solving a 2017 murder in Wicomico County after they have uncovered new information.
Police have not yet said what this new information is but they are trying to identify a vehicle that was seen near the scene of the crime.
On August 14th of 2017 between 9:30 PM and 10 PM at night, investigators believe Arthur Smith Junior also known as A.W. was shot while walking his dog in the 800 block of Gettysburg Avenue in Salisbury.
Investigators say they are searching a small, black, four-door car that was last seen driving in the area of Gettysburg Avenue shortly after the murder.
Anyone who may have information about the crime is asked to contact Crime Solvers at 510-548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering up to a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
