Police arrest man: Allegedly threatened to stab woman at bus stop

A Delaware man was arrested after he reportedly threatened to stab a woman, who tried to help him at a bus stop Wednesday night.
According to reports, around 8 PM, two women found the Frederick Sylvester laying on the ground. He was reportedly halfway inside of a portable bathroom, near the D.A.R.T. Transfer Station at 520 S. Queen Street.
The two women say they helped the 63-year-old get onto his feet. Shortly after, Sylvester apparently chased the 45-year-old victim with a knife, threatened to stab her and claimed that she tried to rob him.
Police arrived and found the knife as well as 5 grams of marijuana on Sylvester.
He faces 6 charges including: possession of deadly weapon during commission of felony, aggravated menacing, possession of deadly weapon by person prohibited, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, terroristic threatening, and public intoxication.
Sylvester was committed to James T.Vaughn Correctional Center on $14,700 secured bond.
