Pleasants, Windsor Lead CSD Past Colonel Richardson 2-0

Cambridge South-Dorchester Softball marched into Colonel Richardson Thursday afternoon and walked out with a 2-0 win.

The Freshman, Maddie Pleasants, took the mound for the Vikings and was sensational all afternoon long. 

Pleasants would record five strikeouts through the first two innings and would go onto pitch a complete game one hitter including 14 strikeouts.

At the plate, Brooke Windsor would notch the only runs of the game for CSD in the 4th inning.

With runners on second and third, Windsor knocked a base hit into center scoring both runs and giving CSD the 2-0 lead. 

With the win, CSD moves to 8-2 while CR falls to 10-3.
