Millsboro Robbery Suspect Arrested

The Delaware State Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of a convenience store.
On Thursday, April 5, 2018 at around 9:00 PM, Troopers responded to the Rite Aid convenience store located at 24892 John J. Williams Highway for a robbery. Upon further investigation, police say 39-year-old Christopher Radcliffe, of Millsboro, entered the store, approached the clerk, and demanded money from the register. Officials say the employee complied with Radcliffe's demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, before Radcliffe fled the scene. The employee was not injured.
On Saturday, April 7th, police responded to a residence in the 31000 block of Legion Road, Millsboro where Radcliffe was located and taken into custody. Radcliffe was charged with robbery in the first degree, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and violation of probation. He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $102,000 cash bail.
