Highlights from 2018 Shorebirds Media Day

The Delmarva Shorebirds hosted their 2018 Media Day with the regular season just three days away.

New faces to the Shorebirds roster include infielder Ryan Ripken, former Hagerstown Sun and son of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. Orioles 2017 first-round and 21 overall pick DL Hall will be starting off the season with Delmarva as well on the mound.

New manager Buck Britton with start off his season as the skipper for the Shorebirds and said he was excited to start in his new role with the club. Britton served as the team's hitting coach last season.

The Shorebirds finished 2017 with a 59-78 record in the South Atlantic League. Delmarva will kick off the season on Thursday at home vs. the Asheville Tourists.
