Hall impresses in Shorebirds debut

2018 Orioles first-round pick DL Hall had a professional debut to remember, Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old from Warner Robins, GA kicked off his highly anticipated career in Salisbury, going three innings, tossing two strikeouts and allowing one hit.

Hall, who originally committed to Florida State to play baseball, was drafted 21st overall by Baltimore in June. He's ranked as a top-five prospect in the organization, and one of the top young pitchers in all of baseball.

Delmarva moves to 6-0 behind another strong day at the plate, taking down winless Hickory 4-2. It's the best start for the Shorebirds since they became an affiliate of the Orioles organization.
