Governor Hogan Gives opinion on Legislative Session ending progress

After one week of legislative session coming to an end, Governor Larry Hogan says he's happy with the progress that was made during this years session.The governor says this was one of their most successful sessions he's seen during his four year term. Adding that some of the bills he's most proud of are include ones that deal with crime and school safety.

"A lot of great things happened for Maryland we got school safety we've got some great tax relief for retirees for working Marylanders and for small businesses we've got past a tough crime bill and we past some great things to get some more jobs in the state so it was great for the whole state and here on the Eastern shore," said Hogan.

Hogan says now he's focused on bringing more jobs to the state  especially here on the Eastern shore, and adds that he expects to be spending a lot more time in the area over the next couple of months.
