Dover police investigating armed robbery

Dover Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred just after 2 AM in the area of South New Street and West Division Street when a 50-year old man was approached by four black male juveniles as he was on a walk.
The man was struck in the face with a handgun, then fled on foot. The suspects chased after him, taking a red back pack containing personal belongings from the victim. The man suffered a minor laceration to his lip as a result.
