Arson investigation leads to Salisbury woman hiding crack pipe in her clothes

A woman is facing multiple charges after police say she was arrested as a result of an arson investigation, in Wicomico County.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says during the week of April 16, the Community Action Team (CAT) conducted an investigation into threats of arson. Deputies say on Friday, they received an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Zora Vetra, of Salisbury, as a result of the investigation.
According to the report, on April 20, a member of CAT was on patrol, in the area of Harford Road and N Zion Road, when they noticed Vetra driving a vehicle. Law enforcement reports that the 26-year-old had an active arrest warrant through the District Court of Wicomico County for threats of arson. Authorities say Vetra was then pulled over and identified during a Salisbury traffic stop.
Deputies apparently notified Vetra that she was under arrest for the active arrest warrant. During the arrest attempt, police say Vetra resisted arrest while attempting to hide a crack pipe in her pants. She also reportedly ripped open a bag of suspected crack cocaine in an attempt to destroy the evidence. While resisting arrest, deputies say Vetra assaulted the deputy.
The Salisbury woman was arrested and charged with threats of arson, possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resist arrest, assault second degree.
She is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.
