UPDATE: One body found during search near Ocean City; Feds. continue plane crash investigation

A plane crash remains under investigation by federal authorities, after police say only one body was recovered during their search mission off the coast of Ocean City.
Maryland State Police say on Friday, they have concluded their recovery operations of the cost of Ocean City following a plane crash that happened two weeks ago. On March 1, federal officials notified MSP Special Operations Division that a plane believed to be a single-engine, four-passenger plane left Martin State Airport on Wednesday night traveling to Ocean City. The plane reportedly carrying two individuals never returned.
According to authorities, they located an oil slick in the ocean during a search of the area near the Ocean City Airport. Police say they focused their search on that area and debris believed to be associated with the plane was found five miles from the initial oil slick in the ocean. Investigators report that the state and military recovery operations resulted in the recovery of 28-year-old Marcson Ngwa, of Windsor Mill, MD and a severely deteriorated airplane. Ngwa, a pilot, was the only body recovered from the plane crash.
Based on information received, law enforcement believe there may have been a second passenger on board. Troopers say the alleged passenger is identified as 28-year-old Benica Mesha Richards-Robinson, of Gwynn Oak, MD. Richards-Robinson has apparently been reported missing through the MSP Golden Ring Barrack. The search and rescue operation apparently continued from March 8 to March 10. MSP reports that side scan sonar was used in the search and they cleared the wreckage, resulting in all parts of the plane being found.
No other passengers were recovered during the search mission.
The cause of the plane crash remains under investigation by federal authorities.
Anyone with additional information related to Richards-Robinson is asked to call Detective Sergeant Forrester of MSP Golden Ring barrack at 410-780-2700.
