UPDATE: Del. authorities, feds identify bandage disguised robber

A robber has been identified after police say he was involved in two Delaware robberies last month. The suspect wore bandages as a disguise in one armed robbery. 

The Smyrna Police Department says on Tuesday, 21-year-old Alan Josey of Bryans Road, MD was positively identified as the suspect involved in two robberies that happened in February. Police say on Febraury 26, just before 4:25 PM, Josey was involved in an armed robbery of the Jimmy Drive Walgreens, in Smyrna.

Officers report that Josey is also believed to be responsible for the robbery of the Camden McDonald's that happened approximately 30 minutes later. The Camden robbery is under investigation by Delaware State Police Troop 3.  

According to the report, officers were able to link fingerprint evidence left at the scene to a FBI database. Police say Josey is currently incarcerated in Maryland for an unrelated robbery case.

Josey is expected to be formally charged with the following charges relating to the Delaware robberies in the coming days:

robbery first degree, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, poss. of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and aggravated menacing.
