Stephen Decatur rallies late to top Chesapeake
Despite trailing midway through the third quarter, Stephen Decatur found life behind 36 points from senior Kevon Voyles in the team's 60-45 win over Chesapeake.
The Seahawks struggled with turnovers throughout the first half, but managed to keep the game tied with the Cougars at 24 headed into the break. Voyles scored as many as eight straight points for the Hawks at one point and threw down a posterizing dunk to get the Berlin crowd fired up.
Deep three-point range was the best friend for Decatur in the fourth getting big shots from Voyles and Mihail Beja.
Decatur moves on to the regional final and will host Centennial on Friday.
