Officials: Teacher suffers minor injury after fight at Wicomico Co. school

On Tuesday, officials report that a teacher sustained a minor head injury during a fight at a Wicomico County school.

Officials with Wicomico County Public Schools tell 47ABC that a CHOICES Academy teacher was injured while breaking up a fight between students on Tuesday morning. 

According to Wicomico County Public Schools officials, the teacher sustained a minor injury as the teacher hit their head during the incident. 

School officials say disciplinary action is already underway against the students involved in the fight.
